Product Description

Plastic Injection Grade PVDF Polyvinylidene Difluoride CAS 24937-79-9 For Printed Circuit Boards
Product Description

Plastic Injection Grade PVDF Polyvinylidene Difluoride CAS 24937-79-9 for Printed Circuit Boards

Polyvinylidene fluoride resin, PVDF for short, is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer. It can be synthesized by polymerization of 1,1-difluoroethylene, and is soluble in strong polar solvents such as dimethylacetamide. It has excellent properties such as anti-aging, chemical resistance, weather resistance, and ultraviolet radiation resistance. It can be used as engineering plastics, used to make sealing rings and corrosion-resistant equipment, capacitors, and also used as coatings, insulating materials, and ion exchange membrane materials.
1. Coating field: Polyvinylidene fluoride resin (PVDF) coatings use PVDF fluororesin and special pigments with excellent weather resistance as the main components, and can be used outdoors for more than 20 years. Office buildings, commercial buildings, airports and other buildings mainly use PVDF coatings.
2. Injection molding field: PVDF has excellent processing performance, and can be processed into films, sheets, pipes, rods, etc. by extrusion molding and other methods. It has good chemical resistance, processability, fatigue resistance and creep resistance, and is often used in reaction kettle.
3. Photovoltaic field: PVDF is an excellent fluorine film material for photovoltaic backplanes. Its flame retardancy is better than traditional PVF materials. Its excellent weather resistance enables PVDF to be exposed to sunlight and air for a long time without aging, and its service life can reach 50 years.
4. Membrane field: PVDF is not easy to adsorb organic matter, has good anti-fouling performance, has oxidation resistance compared with PES/PS/PVC membrane and other materials, is resistant to frequent chemical cleaning, and has high mechanical strength.
5. Lithium battery binder: The market penetration rate of PVDF in all positive electrode binders is as high as 90%. PVDF can bond active materials, conductive agents and current collectors on the positive electrode, maintain the uniformity and stability of the active materials during slurrying, provide the required electronic conduction in the electrode, and maintain the capacity, service life, and stability of the battery. play a vital role.
