Product Description

 

Antioxidant 1135 is a colorless or light yellow liquid. It is a 100% active liquid hindered phenol antioxidant with a melting point of <10°C. It is soluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, ethyl acetate, methanol, dichloromethane, polyether polyols, etc., but insoluble in water. It has low volatility and excellent compatibility.

Excellent antioxidant for a wide range of polymers. Particularly useful for polyurethane soft foams to prevent peroxide formation during storage of polyols and scorch during foaming. It works particularly well in polyurethane forced air cooling due to low volatility and excellent compatibility. This property also prevents fogging on automotive surfaces and staining of textiles. It combines excellent antioxidant properties with the pumpability of a liquid additive for ease of use and effective mixing. The low volatility and liquid state of 1135 make it particularly suitable for single liquid, emulsion, suspension, solution or melt polymer manufacturing processes. It is easily emulsified and can be dissolved, dispersed or kept in pure liquid form when added during processing. It can be added before, during and after polymerization. The usual recommended dosage of 1135 is between 0.15% and 0.5%.
