Polypropylene glycol (25322-69-4)

1. This product is a transparent, colorless, or essentially colorless viscous liquid.

2. It is divided into three types according to the average molecular weight of 425, 1025 and 2025. Not easy to change.

3. Soluble in water (low molecular weight) and organic solvents such as aliphatic ketones and alcohols, insoluble in ether and most aliphatic hydrocarbons.

Product application:

1. The PPG series is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol. PPG500 is soluble in water and has lubricating, solubilizing, defoaming, and antistatic properties. 

2. In cosmetics, PPG500 is used as a moisturizer, softener, and lubricant.

3. PPG is used as a lubricant, antistatic agent, plasticizer, and defoaming agent in the fragrance, resin, rubber, latex and other industries. It can also be used as a release agent and solubilizer.

 4. It is used as an intermediate in esterification, etherification, and condensation reactions.
