Soluble in water, low carbon alcohol, glycerin, N,N-dimethylformamide, partially soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride, ether and chloroform. It is mainly used in the fields of alkyd resin, polyurethane, unsaturated resin, polyester resin, coating, etc. It can also be used in the synthesis of aviation lubricants, printing ink, etc., and can also be used as a textile auxiliary agent and heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride resin.

1. Trimethylolpropane is mainly used as a substitute for glycerin, and is also used to synthesize dry oil.
2. Trimethylolpropane is widely used in the production of polyester and polyurethane foams, and is also used in the production of alkyd coatings, synthetic lubricants, plasticizers, surfactants, rosin esters and explosives.
